A new calibration kit suitable for quantitation of Rebaudioside-A (Reb-A) in Stevia samples using LC. The kit contains four concentration levels from 2,500 mg/L to 5,000 mg/L gravimetrically prepared, with each level compared to an independently prepared 4-point calibration curve and a linearity check of all concentration levels.
Accurate preparation of quantitative reference standards is critical to the purity results for Reb-A ingredients. The hygroscopic nature of these compounds can make this challenging and lead to inaccurate results.
