Cerilliant operates a state-of-the-art analytical laboratory providing custom services
to its clients including: characterization and certification of client materials,
material stability studies, analytical method development, and impurity and structure
elucidation studies. Our expertise spans a wide range of compounds and techniques
from analysis of pharmaceutical compounds and drugs of abuse, to drug metabolites,
impurities and degradants to dioxins, pesticides and other environmental contaminants.
We are experts in method development and validation, expiration and stability testing
and provide full characterization for qualification and acceptance of materials.
Our QC lab completes over 2,000 projects, performing more than 4,000 different analyses
on more than 1,300 different materials annually.
Quality Control operations are independent of Cerilliant production operations and
serve an important role in Cerilliant's quality program. In addition to providing
independent certification of client materials, it is the function of the QC lab
to test and fully characterize neat materials (including identity, purity, residual
solvent, water and inorganic content) prior to release for use in Cerilliant catalog
and custom products; test finished products for homogeneity, purity, and concentration;
develop testing methods; determine appropriate test plans for each compound; and
set expiration or retest dates for products.
The laboratory is well equipped with a wide range of high quality, fully qualified,
analytical instruments. All data is peer reviewed and each project undergoes a technical
Quality Control review and Quality Assurance audit prior to release. A Cerilliant
Certificate of Analysis accompanies every project and customized reports are available.
