Cerilliant Introduces Multi-Component Reference Standard for Pain Management Testing
Cerilliant introduced its latest innovative multi-component certified solution standard
in September, 2009, with the release of Pain Management Multi-Component Opiate Mixture-13
(P-071).
This multi-component drug standard provides thirteen opiates commonly screened
in pain management testing, including Buprenorphine, Codeine, Fentanyl, Hydrocodone,
Hydromorphone, Meperidine, Morphine, (±)-Methadone, Naltrexone, Naloxone, Oxycodone,
Oxymorphone, and cis-Tramadol. The standard’s convenient format eliminates opening
thirteen separate ampoules, preparing laboratory stock solutions for spiking, testing
the stock to ensure accurate dilution, and establishing stability within a laboratory’s
storage containers. Our multi-component standard allows for ease of use and increased
efficiency – simply open one ampule and Snap-N-SpikeTM into the matrix or diluent
of choice or Snap-N-Shoot® for system suitability.
Cerilliant offers a wide selection
of multi-component drug mix standards for numerous applications, including clinical
and diagnostic testing, pain management, forensic/clinical toxicology, and urine
drug testing among many other uses. Our multi-component drug mixes contain a variety
of drugs, such as amphetamines, anticonvulsants, barbiturates, benzodiazepines,
cocaine analogs, decongestants, NSAIDS, and opiates.
These standards provide significant
benefits to the laboratory including increased efficiency for complex analysis,
convenience of use with Snap-N-Shoot®/Snap-N-Spike™ capability, and expiration dates
supported by real-time stability data. For additional convenience, we supply our
multi-component drug standards as quantitative, DEA-exempt solutions. Click on the
